Out of work, but still in love in 2011.

The show follows the everyday adventures of Ben and Kate Hogan, a seemingly happy married couple. However, things go from bad to worse when already unemployed Kate discovers Ben has been let go from his high paying job. Ben is unable to find work or support his family making him one step away from a nervous breakdown. A little bit more laid back, Kate has appropriately turned to drinking and blurring her own reality. Then there is Jack, Ben’s best-friend, a deadbeat who works at the cable company and spends most nights at his local dive bar, Moonshine Saloon. The show pokes fun at relationships and what it’s like to be unemployed in 2011.
